We are doing a scaled down version of a two day class in 3.5 – 4 hours.

Incident Command System Training (ICS 200)

This is notice of a training class for CERT members on January 23, 2014, 6:00 pm, at the Health and Human Services Building, 2345 Morganton Blvd. SW. Lenoir, NC 28645, Third Floor Emergency Services Training Room. Someone will be at the front door to admit you to the building.

Incident Command System training:  ICS 200 Class. 


Course Overview

ICS 200 is designed to enable personnel to operate efficiently during an incident or event within the Incident Command System (ICS). ICS-200 provides training on and resources for personnel who are likely to assume a supervisory position within the ICS.
The Emergency Management Institute developed ICS its ICS courses collaboratively with:

  • National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG)
  • U.S. Department of Agriculture
  • United State Fire Administration’s National Fire Programs Branch

NIMS Compliance

This course is NIMS compliant and meets the NIMS Baseline Training requirements for IS-200.

Primary Audience

Persons involved with emergency planning, response or recovery efforts.

January 23, 2014, 6pm, in the training room on the 3rd floor of the Human Services building.
Come to the front door we will have it open.

This is for all CERT members, please invite your CERT Team members to attend and participate.
